med con team's new products will be launched in January 2012
Due to the increased demand of our clients, two new service products were developed.
The first one is called "Mass Evacuation" and allows to evacuate staff of our clients from remote areas with large body aircrafts. With our German airline clients, we have set up procedures to allow a fast launch of their aircrafts in case of disasters or political changes.
The second one is called "SOS-Call" and allows a person with a GPS mobile to enhance an emergency call anywhere on earth with the localisation information. The International Assistance Group partners will immediately forward these informations to the local emergency centers in the local language.

med con team increased its volume by 5.
med con team is proud to announce that from the beginning of this year the case volume could significantly be increased due to new insurance clients, as well as aviation clients. The insurance clients are HUK-Coburg, DeBeKa and PAX family insurance. A major reason to be chosen was the worldwide expertise due to our IAG network. Meanwhile plenty of cases on all continents let to a very positive feedback by our clients. All three insurances have merged to build up a so called first level support assistance company in Frankfurt. The first point of contact is always the first level support assistance. In case of medical questions the case will be forwarded to the second level support, which are at the moment 3 assistance companies. The system of first and second level support is new in Germany and is very closely looked at by other insurances. It seems to be an effective way of cost containment.


med con team steps into airline business.

From the beginning of this year, med con team is
providing the service for in-flight emergencies for the second largest airline in Germany, Air Berlin and for one of the largest business aircraft provider, DC-Aviation. For Condor, med con team is providing MEDA or MEDIF (Medical Information Form) clearance and worldwide medical assistance for the flight and cabin crews. 



med con team provides commercial repatriations with cost savings but high medical quality.
With 60 AHA (American Heart Association) trained experienced emergency physicians and paramedics, some of them are AHA trainers, the commercial repatriations can now be provided at a high medical quality. In addition a 24h travel agency specialized on commercial repatriations is supporting the operational issues. As we have direct contact to Air Berlin, Lufthansa, Condor and other medically specialized airlines with intercontinental flights, the organisation can significantly be speeded up.
